Yes! Carefree® now carries pads in addition to the beloved Carefree® liners you know and love. From your lightest days to your heaviest nights, Carefree® has you covered for your feminine care needs with both liners and pads.

Most of our Stayfree® Pads are now under the name Carefree® Pads, with new and improved quality and performance. However, we still have 3 Stayfree® products available, including our Stayfree® Classic Pads, Without Wings 22ct, Stayfree® Maxi Pads, Super Without Wings, 48ct, and Stayfree® Maxi Pads, Super Without Wings, 66ct. You can learn more about our new Carefree® Pads line here. Both Carefree® and Stayfree® brands are made under the same makers, Edgewell Personal Care.

We have given our liners packaging a fresh new look, but rest assured your product is still the same great Carefree® you know and love!

Packaging may vary for online orders until we run out of inventory on our current packs. Please note, whatever packaging you receive, you will be receiving the same Carefree® liners product. Both packaging variations contain Carefree® liners that do not expire as long as wrappers are still sealed.

We have dropped the name "Acti-Fresh," but all of our products in our newly designed packaging are still the same Acti-Fresh® product you know and love. It is only the name and packaging that have changed. Our main product line is now referred to as "Carefree® Liners."

We sell Carefree® Original Regular Liners, 20ct and Carefree® Original Long Liners, 90ct. The packaging for this item has not changed. For more absorbencies and sizes, check out our main product line, Carefree® Liners, which are 2x more absorbent vs. Carefree® Original (excluding Thong and Thin liners).

All Carefree® and Stayfree® products are made here in the US, at our manufacturing facility in Dover, Delaware.

No. Liners and pads can be used any time, as long as the wrapper is still sealed.

Carefree® Original liners and Stayfree® Classic pads are fragrance-free (unless marked “Scented.”) While Carefree® liners, Carefree® pads and Stayfree® pads are not designed to be heavily fragranced, they contain an odor neutralizer.

No. Because used liners and pads have been in contact with blood, conventional recycling streams cannot process them because they are considered a biohazard. This applies to all period products and brands, no matter what they are made of.

You can, however, recycle the cardboard box or film bag outer packaging. Please see the How2Recycle instructions on the bottom of your Carefree® or Stayfree® package.

No. For products to be biodegradable, they would need to completely biodegrade within one year after customary disposal. Customary disposal for pads and liners is in the trash, which then gets sent to landfills. Items destined for landfills will not degrade within a year due to the conditions of the landfill. As a result, even if a material would otherwise decompose in natural conditions, we unfortunately cannot claim the product is biodegradable.

No, production of the absorbent materials in Carefree® and Stayfree® products involves only elemental chlorine-free purification processing.
